Volunteer Story – Adeel

Adeel is 20, he was on a Work Placement from The Manchester College from 20^th April – 8^th July in the Next Step project. He has continued to volunteer on the project after his placement has finished.

“I am an enthusiastic person who enjoys acquiring further knowledge buy carrying out different activities and try my best to help someone in need and when possible. On the Next Step project I have actively engage with different activities such as greeting people, helping them with what they need and supporting them my best with the support of the other team members. Volunteering has increased my capability to actively and confidently engage in spoken communication and also acquired some other skills.
